Garage is the place in your home that suffers probably the most from different appliances on its floor, thus the garage flooring has to be really durable and able to survive from everything, starting from everyday eroding due to car tires to corroding by various chemical substances spilled on the floor.
Another aspect of garage flooring that should definitely be taken into account it that it is easily cleanable as quite often garage floor gets dirty and if the floor is hard to clean the dirt will start piling up until it is rather impossible to remove. So it is not advisable to have a garage floor that is rather pore rich as the dirt will gather in them and it cannot be removed from there.
In addition, the color of a garage floor should of course suit with the overall color gamma in the garage, but of course also think on how the color will look in few years as you probably do not want to start coloring the floor every year again. So if you take these facts into account then probably very bright and light colors are not the best idea to be used on your garage floor, just think practically.
