The installation of hardwood flooring does not have to be done by the skilled professional. But when you are deciding to make the installation your own you are taking the responsibility for everything that concerns the installation, no warranty is provided.
The very first thing you have to do is to measure the floor place of the room where you are going to install the hardwood flooring. When you are ordering the materials make sure that you have added at least 5 % to the size of the area that you are going to cover, otherwise it may happen that during the installation it turns out that there is not enough material.
It is very important to allow the material to acclimatize with the room’s conditions for at least 7 days.
The first step of installation is to clean and disinfect the subfloor. Keep the area clean also during the installation. Before covering the floor with hardwood flooring, ensure that the subfloor is try enough. During the installation be sure that you follow all the guidelines in the “Installation guide” that should come together with materials.
